Our JHBMCo. Buffalo Prime Rib Roast is one of our most popular and delicious cuts, and with a simple rub of salt and pepper and a few hours in the oven, we’re sure you will agree!
We’ve included these easy to follow cooking instructions to help you in the kitchen, and as always, we recommend using a digital thermometer to temp all of our steaks and roasts to insure perfect doneness every time!
3.5-4# JHBMCo. Buffalo Prime Rib Roast (thawed)
2 Tbsp. kosher salt
2 Tbsp. cracked black pepper
1.Thoroughly massage the salt and pepper into your thawed buffalo rib roast and transfer to a roasting pan, or rimmed sheet pan with a rack, and let sit at room temperature for one hour
2. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Farenheit
2. Once oven is preheated, transfer your seasoned buffalo rib roast to the oven and cook for 30-35 minutes, and the outside of the roast has beautifully browned.
3. Lower the temperature of the oven to 225 degrees Farenheit, and continue to cook until a digital thermometer reads an internal temperature of 130F (our recommendation for medium rare doneness) or (approximately 1.5 hours)
4. Remove the Prime Rib from the oven and allow it to rest for at least 10 minutes before carving to help ensure a juicy roast.
