Because each board is unique and original, there are unique characteristics and some flaws on each, that's what makes them fun!
The resin sets hard, however, if you cut or scrub on the resin portion of the board, you may scratch it. We recommend hand washing all boards, and no dishwashers, no scrubbing pads on painted portion, and do not submerge in water.
All boards come oiled, ready for use, and with the artist's custom Studio22 stamp burned on the back. Artist recommends using the side with resin for serving, and then you can use the back side without any resin on it for cutting. * Please note that each board has unique coloring to it, and may be different than the photos shown.
