Charcuterie straight from the Teton mountains! Our Summer Sausages, or semi-dry sausages, are handmade with 100% buffalo. The same way we have been since we started out in 1947. Grade A trim is ground and mixed with spices and salts and cooked at low temperatures to achieve the perfect balance between flavor, texture, and shelf life. Excellent with a cold, crisp beer and a creamy, semi-soft cheese, you won't believe how fast these sausages disappear!

Flavors:

Original - our most popular flavor, seasoned with pepper and garlic.

Teton Wilderness - our mildest flavor, seasoned with sage, pepper, and a touch of garlic.

Saloon - our most robust flavor, with pepper and citrus.

Available in 8 oz and 12 oz sizes.  Summer Sausages must be kept refrigerated or frozen due to their high moisture content.  We ship them on ice via 2-day air service ($39.95 flat rate). Short-distance shipping in the winter months can be discounted (please call or email to inquire). Please note we have a $50 minimum order value to ship frozen goods.

    Exceptional Customer Service

    I have been a JHBM customer for years now and have never had a problem withe either product or delivery. That changed about 2 weeks ago when UPS unaccountably shipped my order all over the country for a week before finally delivering it; spoiled.

    The JHBM Co. replaced and reshipped the order without me even having to ask.

    That is exemplary customer service.

    Best sausage

    Loved the slightly salty flavor with rich taste .could be a bit less spongy texture if it had a little filler ie cheese fat or sonething regular summer sausage has that im unaware of.

    I give 5+ stars to everything I gotten from JH Buffalo Co.

    The summer sausage is just one of a number of items I receive every few months.

    The Ground Bison makes amazing burgers and chili. The Bison hot dogs are quite honestly addictive, best hot dogs ever. The steaks melt in your mouth and the breakfast sausage is great for breakfast, but also great mixed in with roasted veggies.

    Whatever you purchase you will never regret it.

    Great summer sausage

    The buffalo summer sausage is delicious, I bought the Teton and Original. I like the Original slightly better than the Teton but both are good.
