Infused with fresh rosemary, garlic, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and olive oil, this recipe enhances the natural taste of the meat and adds another layer of flavor, without overpowering it. It pairs perfectly with our 12oz Elk T-Bone steaks.
This game meat steak marinade recipe will be enough to lightly marinate two steaks. The recipe can easily be doubled or tripled to accommodate more or larger steaks!
Ingredients
-
2 Elk T-bone steaks
- 2 Tbsp good extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 6 garlic cloves
- few sprigs of fresh rosemary
-
A couple turns of fresh cracked black pepper
Directions
Combine all the above ingredients and add your steaks
Let the steak and/or steaks marinate for at least one hour.
Brush and/or wipe-off any excess marinade before grilling to keep flare-ups to a minimum!
Grill your steaks to rare or medium rare for the best taste and texture. Let them rest for a few minutes before you cut into them.
Finish with a sprinkle of salt, and enjoy.
Recipe Note
We like to let the meat temper and relax at room temperature in the marinade while the grill heats up. We recommend refrigerating your marinating steaks if you will not be cooking them within the hour. Remember to have a HOT two-zone fire and to let the steaks rest before slicing into them. Happy Grilling!
