Enjoy this steak on a warm summer evening on the grill or on a pan indoors.
Ingredients
-
2 t-bone steaks
-
1 stout beer (We used a Chocolate Hazelnut Porter)
-
1 cup of a coffee rub (We used Spiceology's Imperial Coffee Stout Rub)
-
Olive oil
Directions
- You can marinate
your steaks for a few hours up to overnight. We marinated ours overnight. Mix
the beer and seasoning in a bowl or baking dish. Then add your steaks and make
sure the steaks are covered in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate.
A few hours prior to cooking, remove the steaks from the fridge. When you're ready to cook them, add a tablespoon of olive oil to your pan and heat it over medium-high heat.
Once your pan is hot, add the steaks to the pan and sear both sides. These steaks don't take long to cook, so cook for 5-7 minutes depending on how you like your steak.
Rest for five minutes before serving.
