Elk Italian Sausage

Spicy, lean, and delicious, our Elk Italian Sausage makes an excellent sausage and pepper dish. Also great in pasta or stews. If you are planning to cook over direct heat, we recommend a quick boil or slow braise in a flavorful liquid or beer before grilling or sautéing to retain moisture.

I had never eaten elk sausage before! Very unique and good tasting. I cooked up some in an iron skillet for my famous garbage pizza and I tried a bite. I ate a whole sausage…🤭 Plenty left for the pizza but I was surprised at how good it was by itself! It made the pizza too!

    elk sausage

The sausage is spicy - really a great way to add some zip to eggs or potatoes.

Just need to be careful not to overcook.

If you like spice in your food - this is a great one to try.
